We could assist ourselves to conquering panic attacks by monitoring our eating habit. Try to keep your caffeine amounts low. I used to drink a lot of tea, coffee and coke. This amount of caffeine resulted in my heart to have shivers. Having palpitations used to drive me into a panic attack and because my heart was pumping very hard I thought I was going to die due to a heart attack. Thus I cut out coffee and coke. It really helped my palpitations, that subsequently cut down my panic disorder.

For me the best approach to overcoming panic attacks was when I actually believed that it was my imagination that created the panic attacks. I had been notified that it was my thoughts that where inducing my anxiety and panics. However I fought with that for years and years. However I took small measures to interfere my thought patterns. As we do have automatic thought patterns that run when we first go into a panic attack that feed the panic.

So start to observe your thoughts when you start to go into a panic attack, the more conscious of your thoughts you are the more equipped you are in overcoming panic attacks.
