Earlier, the uniform of the golfer was stiff and uncomfortable wool, year round, with extremely minimum breath ability and ease of movement. Golf may be expensive enough without adding the attire into the mix. Do not get held up in dressing a certain manner if it is in fact not compulsory to do so. If there is not a rule in place forcing you to do so, do not feel enforced to buy numerous "golf pants" or other relevant outfits. Pay attention to the other golfers and get a normal idea of what each one is wearing. This will help you to understand of what is good enough and standard at this golf course. Wear the outfit which fits your body, your budget and your individual tastes. Remember numerous things however:

1) Cotton is one of the finest materials for summer month play. It is breathable, soft and will protect against chafing, while allowing for sweat evaporation.

2) Lighter colors reflect more of the sun's light, hence keeping you cooler also.

3) If you may manage to pay for it, there are tops that are treating to block the sun's rays and also to put off flying pests.

4) Bear in mind as well: too tight and you will not be comfy, and risk skin breakdown. Too loose and you may impede your own play.
